Aircon compressor needed for 1996 surf

Hello. Anyone selling or otherwise disposing of an Aircon Compressor for the 1996 SURF ? Or know best place to obtain one without spending hundreds of pounds ? ( because at that price I can just open the sunroof, albeit then it's noisy ).
Suggestions gratefully received.
