Hi there
Its been a few years since I was on here (about 14) but some super helpful people helped me with my surf then, which never let me down by the way.
I'm back with the hilux pickups again which I had before the surf. I have a mk3 with a rover V8 in it running on LPG. all good but the gearbox jumps out of 4th on deceleration.
I'm looking for another gearbox, but have been told that the 2.4 2nd gen manual gearbox was a stronger unit than the hilux one and is a direct fit (apparently..).
If anyone has one or knows of a breaker (or rebuilder) etc I'd be very interested.
