    anyone have a surf tv unit that they dont want or want a small bit of cash for it ?

    i have an idea on how to use it but need to get my hands on one to try it out.
    so much to do , so little money , so little time

    Hi there,s suppose to be one in a 95 Surf l have coming in on the 12th November if it is still in it when it gets here you can have it just for the postage to see if your idea works.

        what you gonna do? stick on a HUGE aerial and see if you can pick up Jap TV?

          no ... but then again..... ,

          the plan is to work out how to convert pal to ntsc and squirt it back in to the unit, it is possible to do and i dont think it will be too dificult but until i have a unit to work on then i wont really know.

            i have a panasonic set up from my import , my local engineer says there are pal to ntsc adapters but they are usually used for domestic tv's so a bit big and a bit pricey but it can be done , let us know if you find a cheap solution , seems a shame to bin my tv set up just yet

              Why not just use a dvd player that will output ntsc ? then add a tv tuner to the dvd, job done
