Don't recall it having a solid.

Pretty sure it's got Independent front suspension.

plus - this is my first project - never had a 1st gen, been surf free since I sold my gen 3 ssr-g last summer. Coulnt' wait to get my hands on something mad but technically I know nothing about 1st gens so any advice is welcomed!

Got the rear window working today and flipped the back open!

Getting the window up was a different story - mostly on the wonk - I'll add that to the list of jobs

Forgot to confirm front end is Independent not a solid axle...........
