Don't, its fine as it is. Dried mud is a fantastic way of spotting tiny fluid leaks you'd never spot on a clean engine.

My trucks look like after I've cleaned them! Leave it as it is.

If you are perverse enough to leave it covered in shite, at least clear out the radiator fins or your xmas will be ruined.
Oh and pump that front tyre up a bit.

I let my tyres down a bit to get out. I also lost my traction mats in the mud hole too. Damn those wheels I recently missed out on.
