Yea the 31's are on borrowed time..hopefully got some 33's lined up for now, going 35's in the long run..probably not until I've linked the back tho..which isn't going to be until next spring I rekon.
No MOT was a fail, but not an epic fail which was good.
Headlight aim too high.. Which he never checked anyways 'cos the glass was fogged up
Brakes out of balance.. New discs and old pads.. You could see where only the high points on the pads had been touching the new discs. I did pull the pads and flat them off, but it obviously needs more investigating..maybe another bleed?
Too noisy.. This ones a bit harsh I feel..it's not excessive now by any means (compared to the side pipes anyways ) I've got a removable end plate 'thingy' for the back box..it's no baffle by any means and doesn't really have much effect on the sound level, so im gonna stuff the box with wire wool and see how that goes. No time to be ordering glass fibre stuff..retest Tuesday with any luck.
I've had problems with misted/foggy headlights on some wagons I've
taken for test, I just leave the headlights on on the way there, take's
about 45mins, dry's them out nicely.
I think your imbalance will only be corrected with new pads, used pads
would be fine given time to bed in, but thats not going to happen.
Not a waste as you can still use the used pads another time.
Want to use it over winter..get the plasma table installed in the garage, then attack the rear next spring with decent cutting abilities..driven me nuts cutting and grinding all the fab work with a 4"
