Having said that, I'm sure a good electrician could do me a remote...

.... be carefull of the tail gate there are a couple of them around here with smoothed tail gates and 1 of them the filler is parting company with the panel

That's an interesting comment as mine is simply a 'plastic' cover over the original tailgate.... no filler in sight!
