my mate has a harris hawk that he flies but i have never seen it,
they are absolute beauties you have there,

ta people this is why im now looking at buying a surf asap as it will only be used twice aweek to transport my 2 birds to the hunting grounds,
the darkest one at the back and in the second picture is a harris hawk
and the one closest in first picture is a american redtail hawk

I went to an agricultural show last weekend and watched a bird of prey demonstration. As well as the usual "flock" of falcons of various types they were showing an eagle owl, a steppe eagle and a martial eagle. Unfortunately the big boys were flown tethered because of the conditions but very impressive all the same.

thes are the whole reason why i want a surf as our last car was just not big enough inside bot wise for the box and equipment

Lovely looking couple of birds mate! I use my Surf to get me to the hunting ground with Harris Hawk too. Just waiting for her to finish her moult & get her out there again...
