  • 30 second exposure

    I took this last night at about 22:30, lit only by the street lights about 200 yrds in front of me, and the lights from the pub on the top right...

    Too old to care, young enough to remember

          I'd like to see the same shot but with the white balance adjusted on the camera. D'you know what I'm talking about, MudSurfer...? I mean the bit where you can tell the camera what the external light source is.

              it need 30 minutes adjusting the levels in photoshop, to balance the highs and lows
              Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)

                You should start with a .raw file if you're going to muck about with it, no point in letting the camera mess around with the immage first.

                  It's taken on an Olympus E-410, and I think that was using my Sigma 30-135 MF lens. I'll have another go with the W/B adjusted - I did play with it in PS Elements, but it didn't do too much, so I'll try another one this week and take a W/B shot first to set it and see what happens...
