It's an HDR shot. It's three images (one under-exposed, one over-exposed, one just right) combined. It's what the bracketing function on your digital camera is for. The colours are totally untouched. Originally it was a slide photography technique; you'd take three (or more) differently exposed photos and then stick all 3 slides in the same holder.Originally posted by Albannach View Post
When you take a normal digital photo, your camera is set to input light across a certain range. In HDR photography you extend that range by taking at least three shots at different ranges and then combining them using special software. For some amazing examples, check out this link; the geezer's work is incredible!
The image is signed, licensed and copyrighted because I post my photos on Flickr and there are some pikey farquhars on there who'll steal an image at the drop of a hat.Comment
