    Went there but could I find the route?? Could I heck!!!!!!!!! Just drove round and round for ages! Anyone know the start of the Welham Green-Dane end route???

        have you got a OS map? I've done all the lanes around there when I lived in Stevenage, we found most of them OK.

            This is the best for now, look for the green crosses, they are highlighted on this one, not on the next pic.

            Check the lanes are still open before driving them, plus some are quite rutted, but they where resurfacing greenlanes in that area when I moved out, so you maybe disappointed.

              There isn't may lanes around, heres bit of the map for Welham green area.

              You best bet is to buy the OS Explorer maps, no 182 and 194 are what these came from.

              Get hold of Koi, he loves a greenlane or two, sure he'll guide you round, we did most of them when I was local.

                    I have the route sort worked out but i also have the route in TOR...Will be planning a jaunt soon for those who wish to do it....

                      I scrounged some scaffold tubes off some builders who regularly green lane. One of the routes they told me about starts near Lilley and goes into deepest Herts. they said to allow about 5 hours to do it. Sounds interesting for when my elbow gets better.

                            Thought you had forgoten that one Mark. Went through the Batford Ford to clean the Surf last Sunday. Very handy!.
