You aint kidding. It doesn't look too bad in those pictures, but when you're at the top, and you can't see anything but the river until you're half way down..... it's brown trousers time.

Mind you, after a couple runs I learned to trust to 1st gear low range, and didn't use the brakes. Jess will testify as to how fast I was descending.

BTW Gizmo, forgot to say thanks for the tyre pressure check. The ride home was much more comfortable when not running at 45psi.

(Must remember to check tyrepressures next time)

Yeah you're right Mark, it is one scary hell of a drop and the first time you had to ride it.

The first time I saw it, I think I pretty much thought the same.

              Anyway, had the pics.....couldn't resist!

Soz i couldnt make it sat as working all day. If id logged on on sat night i may have seen you were going on sunday too and would have joined you. I went for a trip through the yorkshire dales instead with the kids....was very tempted to vier off road when up on top of the moors. I believe there are some good greenlane runs over that way but with out a map i couldnt play.
Glad you kept the bikers in there place chris lol.

Just put the tyre in for repair. He couldn't patch it as it was too close to the tyre wall, so £90 for a new Yokohama, plus £10 to swap my decent spare onto the rim that I can use (I have two spares, one on a rim that fits but was bald, and a good one on an original Toyota rim that needs different wheel nuts). OUCH!!!
