I'll consider anything, but at the mo, would prefer cheep and cheerful if possible.

I've just rang Tuff Terrains (Aughrim), and spoke to a very helpfull and plesant lady called Pat. Unfortunatly I don't think they are really what we're looking for, they have hugh lands (I think she said 1600 acres), but operate on an instructor only basis, all vehicles must carry one of their instructers and charges are per person, not per vehicle. The price remains the same if you use your own vehicle or one of theirs. Rough guide to price is €295.00 pp inc vat for the day!
She did say we could negotiate some discount for the 5 or 6 vehicles I said may be involved, but at that price guide I'm afraid you can count me out.

However she did say that one of the instructors drives a Hilux, and he may know of somewhere cheaper (do I hear hints of a nixer?) so took my number in case they hear of anything cheaper.

BTW they have been thru some changes of name, they are now called the Land Rover Experience, and can be found in the phone book as Quest Off Road Driving!

she must of meant to say u get escorted around te course and u have to wear a suit, leave te wellies at home . are u sure u werent booking us into a hotel for that price. any one know of any farmers who are thinking of ploughing there fields shortly?????????
