Anyone up for a bit of laning that weekend, either day is ok for me. I was thinking of doing some lanes north of LLangollen, with the weather we have been having lately it should be fun!
yeah sounds good to me could try the one that missed out the 1st time when the tree was across the track and head north to the tracks we havent done yet!

Am jealous Matt - used to regularly go kayaking at Llangollen and the Trewaryn up above Bala - the off-roading must be great round there...

I have often been tempted to hire a kayak in Llangollen and give it a go, it is amazing how powerful that section a the river can get.
The green lanes around here are great, along with scenery it can be an amazing day out! You should try make it up for the camping w/end Danny is planning, can't remember the dates exactly but there is a tread in this section with all the details. You could even fit in a spot of kayaking as well!

The Dee at Llangollen could get pretty hairy after big rains - and the Trewaryn (sp?) was always huge if there was a big damn release - some of the most technical sections in the wolrd on the lower bit, though perhaps not the glamour of the Zambezi or the Sun Khosi! N Wales is a long way from me these days sadly - though it sounds like a great trip - have a good one!
Matt was looking at the maps with the routes on and if you want to do the north section do you want to meet in Ruthin instead or do you still want to meet in llangollen and do the few lanes there then move north?
Hi Danny, I'm easy - Ruthin seems like a good idea as there is quite a concentration of lanes there that we haven't done yet, between Llangollen and Ruthin there isn't very much and we would probably spend quite a while trying to get north if we start LLan. Up to you...
Hi Danny - do you want to meet at the Texaco in Ruthin LL15 1NB? I don't know Ruthin very well so I looked on G maps, seems like a good place to meet as there is a large parking lot next door were you can fit you drive shaft!
My phone has wiped itself AGAIN! (f****** blackberrys) So I lost you number... AGAIN!
hi Matt was just looking at the map again and i think the collection of houses at Rhydyalog would be a good place to meet as there is a lane near by and can do the one we didnt manage to do the 1st time we went and then close to the lanes we havent done.
just sent you a text so should have my number again!
good day laning on saturday! found one or two decent new lanes and some very over grown ones as you can see from the video below! managed to rol lthe surf on its side and caught it on video from inside my surf! (the last vid) but managed to get it back on 4 wheels with the help of mat! luckily no one hurt and surf came away with out anything broken too!
