so is it a weekend up at drumclog or a day! cant wait to get up there for a off roading and camping weekend! as it looks great!

Actually it's not Drumcog but Glentarkie.
The one you want to plan for is May 21st to the 23rd. That's the May Bash and the first official summer weekend outing. The weather has been great every year since we began. A few from here have been up for this one before. Diesel Wiesel usually makes it. You'll have to verify with Yoshie as you might need to join as the club is now an MSA club. But that only means a joining fee of about 20 squid.

Only it's the weekend of the 28th May. Fee to Dec 2011 for SMC membership will be £10. Weekend will be £50 and camping from Fri to Mon will be free.
We normally get 60+ trucks for this one.

The membership is needed to comply with MSA and SACC rules for insurance purposes.

what a day we had today! found some great lanes! longer than the fayfarer and i think harder too! all got stuck and helped eachother out! vids and pics coming shortly! item of the day! the spade! underated item for off roading!before it got ran over and bend by howard!

hope all got home safely and barry driving back all the way up to preston!

lessons learnt

hi all, glad barry got home ok, I think one of the lessons we can all learn is to have good solid tow ropes and if we all carried a spade that would have helped.
(sorry about the spade danny, but it still works) I will bring mine next time and you can run over that. see you all next time. howard

oh there you are cal and john been hiding lately! yeah it was a good day and good lanes and have a lot more to venture on! the lane we all got stuck in would be quite technical going up it! will give you a shout next time we are out! it has a LARA restraint on it mid April to May i think to repair the big hole we got stuck in!
