  • South Lakes Expidition (45 miles, Green Laneing)

I have been asked to post this as I have a copy of the route so:-
Any who are interested post a reply and we will make a list.

The route is to start at Cark (south of Cartmel), will run for aprox 44.5 miles and take up to 5 hours and finishes in Tebay (Off J38 M6).
There is a chance of scratches, there is some loose rock areas and some of the route will be split by short bursts on main roads, open moor land and fells.
There are also, if the weather is clear, some fantastic veiws and scenary.

    Proposed date is 25th July.

Again all are welcome, any 4X4, and its a family day out, so bring the kids, the neighburghs kids, your gran, whatever, its a fun day out.

Now I know a stockist, I will check when passing later this afternoon and grab it for you m8 if you aren’t successful. WHSmiths in costa del Blackburn do not stock it though.

                    Kazam401 Sorry Rob

Just a couple more will make it a great day out, this route is suitable for any 4x4 vehicle and requires only basic skills, and will be running over 19 lanes and one mountain, 3 fords and bleak wind swept moor land. The photo opportunities alone should be tempting enough.
I will take along some BBQ stuff, if anyone else wants to bring some too we can eat al fresco, al dante' (sure I went to school with him) or whichever "al" it is who has a picnic.
