a guy off the pajero owners club is going to send me some lane ideas around north wales he's asked what sort of lanes we want to do ie easy medium muddy boggy hard going ect i'm not fused which sort of route we take, but if anyone coming dos'nt fancy hard going boggy lanes then we can look at some gentle ones

Tyres fitted but couldnt seem to bleed heater. think its totaly blocked. Water going in one side, drip coming out of other side. Looks like i'll still be using the hot water bottle in the mornings.
Paid a visit to the camel trophy guy. Best he could recommend was join GLASS. He said there are some good lanes around Llangollen but he didnt know where they were. Just having a look on the web for any other info, will post tonight,

Found these maps on a landy site just west of llangollen, route highlighted in blue. Driver recons its a six hour route in total that he has travelled in a surf.
          Bent a side step.

Just had a reply on the landy forum. Parts ot the llangollen route appear to be in poor condition and other parts have now been closed.

                Out of ideas, sorry.
Considered removing my side steps yesterday while changing my tyres over. Seems like the obvious thing to do with them as they are pretty useles as steps and not really much use as rock sliders. Tubular steel supports have rotted through anyway.

OK will do. The route I have starts at Tyn-Y-Celyn 2 miles west of Glyn Ceriog which is 2.7 mile south of Llangollen.
Simon, You would probably travel west for 15 mile fom a place called Chirk which is on the A5. Or the B4579 from Oswestry.
If you fancy meeting in Glyn Ceriog Sat morning then game on.
Email me your phone number and I will ring you

                      Anyone else coming

                      PS (edit)
Just gone back on the landy forum. The original post is 4 years old.
Think I may have p*****d them off as they have removed my post from their forum and there is a string of posts saying the route is closed and dont drive it. I hadn't read the entire 4 year history and hadn't realised that this had been mentioned previously. Touchy or what.

Can still travel the routes in your sat nav and maybe look at this one along the way.

hi mate as far as i'm concerned the badge on the front makes no difference, it's a 4x4 at the end of the day, i have plenty of ropes and straps so we should be ok

If you fancy following the route in TOR magazine ?I can vouch there are some nice lanes in that. If none of you have a copy then I could sort one out for you. It runs from Colwyn Bay to Wrexham. The first bit is quite a bit of tarmac but the second half is quite good, plus its a laff tryin to read the bugger.

It runs throughg Moel Vam(whatever) ..... so could be part of the lanes you mentioned. Wayfarer is closed so that counts that out.

How can I be lost when I've got no where to go
