no, not done any P&P sites yet..fancy more of a test than the usual. The trip sounds a good plan too. One of the lads at work is twitching to get a disco, so we could have another set of wheels to add to the convoy.

What work have to done to yours John, other than the wheels..??

My sis had a freelander a while back too (with a blown motor - 2.0l rover) fancy dropping that onto a disco chassis if i can get it off her for nowt

sorry mate i am out this sunday fcuk1n tenants have done a runner and left the house in a sh1t pit plus the police have knocked the door in for her warrant! so will be using the surf all weekend but not the way i wanted to!

get a discovery at your peril, they are rot boxes like no other vehicle, mine has hardly any inner wings, my battery is nearly hanging in mid air, three of my body mounts aren't connected to the chassis and i can pook my finger through the chassis in places. they leak like a sive, but they have articulation to be envious of and fuel economy in the thirties.
i tryied last week to swap my bike for another 3 gen surf with a view to build a decent offroader. Theres a 3 gen ssrg in baby blue like Sal's for sale in Abergele for £2995 and its only got 100k on the clock.

the cruisers are tops, but jus too big and thirsty IMO..

Im seriously thinking of floggin the cossie and ploughing some wedge into a decent truck i.e. project surf, SAS'd with decent diffs, 4-linked an then probably sold for scrap cos it dont work..lol
