Woodlands (Devils Bridge campsite) phoned me on Saturday. All booked in OK.

They said it would be £7 per truck if single driver, otherwise £9.50 if two or more in the truck. Tents can be erected for no extra charge.

I'm still waiting for confirmation email but they did say they are having problems with their mail.

Taint the jet lag that you need to recover from.

Peter from Erwlon has been in touch to confirm it will be £6 per person for the Friday night.

4Runner Pete has mailed me some routes we can play with on the Friday afternoon - Brechfa Forest where they do the rally - we haven't been there before so its all new to us - they look quite nice........

                                SARN HELEN, South

Just had a pleasant conversation with the rights of way officer of Neath Port Talbot Council.

She was very surprised when I informed her of the additional granite boulders that have appeared on top of the mountain, blocking the way. She confirmed the road would be legally open 1st June to end August and those extra rocks would be gone. She knows the landowner and would be phoning him today and will email me his response.

She also said that we are legally entitled to go around an illegally placed obstruction, as long as you don't cause damage ie tear up a fence. So that clears up last years little caboodle on Strata.

I will drive the route the week before our weekend away to confirm it is clear.

                                What this space.
