Hi people - new to the Forum as i'm just about to pick up my new surf. It's a 2.4TD 1991
I've bought it for 2 reasons only, caravanning and greenlaning. The caravanning side of things i'm pretty much set with but i'm at a loss as far as offroading goes. I saw Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear driving his fox across the fields saying how legal it was.
Can anybody help me to find these 'greenlanes'? Are they signposted? I knwo i need to get an OS map, i think i remember how to read them from my Cadet days but what am i looking for on the map? A particular colour line?
Any advice is most welcome.
