We did the same route today as Saturday but without the 4X4 bits, the wife was blown away, we stopped on a bit just before the Devil's staircase and the kids had a nice paddle.

Devils Staircase? Did you do Sarn Helen? I keep getting conflicting info - open - closed? Does anyone know for sure? A local chap on fourbyfourclub.co.uk reckons the lower half is open.

I wear mine in winter. Bit too warm for this time of the year. Did you meet up with Apache last Friday for a drink at the Nags Head? We couldn't make as we were away.

Got a bit burned one day in the week, but it's been cool at nights, can get hot 1st thing in the morning if the sun comes up though.

This is such a nice campsite though, all others will never compair now

Not sure if you were managed to sort anything out for this but my circumstances have changed again and will be heading off to Ireland in next hour or so. Will still be available for last 2 weekends in august if you decide to go ahead.
