advice please

Hi,

Ive had my 4 runner for a few months now, and finally have a bit of time on my hands, and whant to try my hand at some proper off roading. but where do i go?

I'm up for taking part in events mentioned, im probably gonna go to the Drumclog, it sound cool.

i live in leeds/manchester at the mo, and was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere local i can go.

any help is appreciated.

its apparently not too far, about an hour or so i think.

Is it good? I went up to a place called Barton Bridge this afternoon, and really enjoyed it. was on my own though so a bit apprehensive when it came to climbs that looked like they could get me stuck.

Who are "the lads from oop north" and how do i get in their gang?

Have a chat with JUDWAK - he's from Rotheram I think, and seems to find places with lots of water and mud....and may well know a lot of local stuff....
