10 trucks, thats gotta be two groups really.

Anyone either a) know the area well enough that they could lead a group between the lanes if i mark up a map? OR b) running TOMTOM or memory map and fancy leading a group between the lanes if i plot it out on MM or create a POI file for the start and finish of each lane?

Other way to do it is to regroup and the start and finish of each lane but leave a decent gap between the two groups on the lanes, this is ok but can mean a lot of waiting around and it's hard to stay 5 minutes apart or whatever..... there should be a few places where there's only short road distances between the lanes so it's easy enough to do 2 or 3 lanes then regroup.

All sounds a bit technical to me

What happened to 7 and 8 then???
The other week there were 12 trucks out laning in Kent all together and we didnt get any hassle.
I think we should leave it there at 8 though as it a manageable number and not too intimidating to r*mblers.
Is the plan still for the Ashford area Ian?

                        He...He...

Went for a recce today with the boys from KLASS, well a few of them anyway. Found some tight lanes, and some SERIOUSLY tight lanes. And some nice scenic sort of ones too.

                        Teaser pics:-

Rest of todays pics can be found here:- http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u...es%2022_02_08/

You might have noticed a distinct lack of Surf - I feel dirty, i travelled in the passenger seat of the range rover. I will work more on routes and come up with an appropriate suggestion, but many of todays lanes would not be fair to run when vehicles with paint are coming. Yes this is me saying I would think twice about taking my own vehicle down some of these - as a guage for anyone who's been offroading with me before.

That looks like the back of Morris's head in the second pic up from bottom (aka marshman) I'll have to jump back on the KLASS site as I'm missing out!
