Marty,do you know what to do regarding paying the farmer?? Do you need to call before you turn up?? I've only been to group outings that others have arranged.

Just phoned him just now , booked four of us in . said they are clamping down on folk just turning up and not paying. so always phone ahead to check and you have to go on in twos, understandable really. eg this weekend is fully booked big club event on .
i dont know if he will be happy with me putting his number out on the forum but here it is 01357440202 for future reff
you just turn up at his farm house slap 20 nicker in his hand and off you go.

oh and if you get really stuck another 20 nicker to get the tractor to pull you out.

Not sure which farm house is his. What way do you go to Drumclog M8,M73/74??? I could drop in on way past. When i went to clog the last time i went via Hamilton as i was picking someone up. The first time i headed i went down the coast and along A71. Is there an industrial park at Inchinnan?? Where pet world is??? Maybe i'm in the completely wrong place The others could meet us on the A71,think theres a service station where you turn off the M74.

What you think???

Of course im ready!!!! My truck dont need an idler you see. Just tell me were we meet up and ill be there, but it ll have to be about 10a.m or just before cos its 100 miles fae me. I imagine thats about par for the course anyway.

Ill be heading down M74 and turning of A71 also so thats fine by me.

Yea do that smiffy ill meet you at the pet superstore its in renfrew as its only 5 mins from me .
can sort out a time nearer the time.
Quickest way i find is through east kilbride ,so from renfrew on m8 to m77 off at ek then thru strathaven.
usualy takes me an hour max.
no cb in mine.
oh and on the way back ,crackin pub called the new farm on route home / motorway.good food and a wee shandy or as wife is prolly coming a couple o pints for me.

should be a laugh ,borrowing a mates bullit cam for some footage or shame getting pulled out!!

Well im not bothered. Marty your route seems easier leaving from your bit. Strathaven pre meet's cool as well. What about we get there for a 10ish that'll give us a good few hours to play.??? I'll bring a video camera as well if i remember. Just need to find a mount for it. Sure i've got one somewhere.

ok carl im trying to think of somewhere to meet in strathaven ,only place i can really think of is the co op car park ,i think its a co op or maybe a small tesco anyway its in the middle of strathaven .

Well even thou I still felt like sh it with this cold bug, my brother dragged me out to change the cv boots on my truck. Needed doing so glad he did but now have no excuse. So me and Kerrsurf will be joining you guys if thats ok.
I'm still on older 31 ATs so might need dragged out now and then. Was hoping to have lift done and some new 33 muds but I wont have time.

Carl we can meet you on the A80 M73 or M74 I think you will use all on your trip
