Is it worth a dabble for a newbie? will they drag you out if you do get stuck?

not been there yet but i would be supprised if they arn't at hand to bail you out, more likely you will be the one doing the recovery of others coz there in landies

They do seem to have a lot of landies in the gallery on their website,in fact, I think all the pictures may have been landies.

We won't be in Wales 'till Sunday unfortunately otherwise we could've tied up for a trip although saying that I believe Bala is only open the first weekend in every month although I could've got that wrong.

Sounds good but we're travelling up on Sunday and I don't think we're going to be there 'till early afternoon.

LRE. Thats the bunch that did the two day course at Easnor Castle that I did about 8 years ago (well before I'd thought of offroading as a hobby). My employer paid for it, as we drove offroad for the work I was doing.

Unfortunately we didn't go in the end, the daughter doesn't like offroading so we thought it be unfair to take her.
Also, I must admit I didn't fancy the idea of risking trashing the truck the day before we drove home either.

I'll definately do it next time though, I just want to get some local off-road experience first.
