just do it! as geoff says. its also a good excuse to meet up with your forum buddies you'll learn a lot as its not wise to go offroad on your own especially with no experience.

I will try and come down for the weekend with the ball and chain and drag the brats with us.Do you know which campsites everybody or anybody is staying as we have a trailer tent.if you do what are the prices/spaces/facilities and directions.but i still need tyres

Marky is stying at Pickering, most everybody else is at the Hoseasons owned site on the cliff top outside Whitby.
It's costing me about £60 for Fri/Sat/Sun night with a touring caravan. Of course that includes elec. & awning & dog etc. etc.
Might be cheaper with a trailertent. I think the phone numbers on that link Marky gave you.
It should be a good weekend

I work shifts as well & I know what it can be like !
Might be pushing it to work Fri night ,travel down Sat morning ,enjoy your offroading & then drive home.
Why not make a booking for Sunday ,relax & enjoy the day more. However if you want to come Sunday pm me asap as we are paying the money shortly & we'll need yours if you want to get the 50% group discount.
