I usually cut through the back roads to chivvy. Straight past baldhu. PC wolrd is a bit of a long way, or double back.

I'll 2nd that. And i didnt get stuck, apart from when the fronty pulled me out, and when Rich gave me a tow. And i didnt have any damage, apart from getting a puncture, denting my front bumper and smashing my left wing mirror with Rich's help.

Forgot. Cant wait to see the pics, Mandy had a camera in her hand all day long. NIce one Mandy.

just got in I am knackered!!! had to get my dad to drive some of the way home as i was falling asleep! What a great day the only damage i have (at the moment!!!) is a stop light not working!!! i did hit a lot of trees but they seemed to pop the dents right back out for me, which was nice of them. I got stuck about 20 mins into it and got pulled out by a very nice man in a land rover. i did say to him about him getting through and he said they dont even try it cos its too hard, i think just about everyone that went in the water there got stuck and needed to get pulled out! My dad got stuck in some ruts in some VERY muddy stuff and was trying to push the tree that was blocking our path down! i managed to use the spade (that everyone laughed at me for having!!!) to dig us out and we rescued ourselves! come the end of the day on our last trip round all together i was last and though i would go over the bit the others drove around when i got over the first hump i saw why they did and changed my mind, only it was too late and was stuck and could not go back. I couldn't even open the door as i was wedged. so i went for it and made it more accessible for others by flattening the corner with my door!

My dad has only really help me fix my truck and seen me tow cars in it and he was impressed with that! Today i think he was REALLY impressed he kept saying ' you can't drive through that!' but like a good surfer i did and he could not believe what these trucks can do and now he wants one, although he says he doesn't have the space.

Thanks rich for organising today and thanks to everyone who pitched up as it was a great day enjoyed by all (including the people that lost parts will let them explain) we even saw a flying car!!!
it never rain it pours! glad I got the 4X4

yes, thanks Rich for a great day.
I tied up my bonnet in the end......what you guys didn't see was me hitting a large tree.....need l/h/f indicator now and do something with the bumper.

Got to make roast dinner for tea now as penance......Dear wife isn't talking to me now (very peacful....but rather cold) "I cant drive that now can I!..."

                        Gotta go, roasties are burning.

Cant wait for the pis, sorry pics, eh boys

HA HA HA i wondered why you left early. i was really impressed with your frontys they look really good bouncing around. I think it was hard not to hit any trees you need a bull bar for protection glad i got mine as its saved my front end a lot i hit several trees too (well mostly my dad did whilst i was telling him to keep off the clutch and breaks and get on the gas to miss it!) by the end of the dad he was loving it and giving it loads! i was beginning to fear for the safety of me and my truck
