I recently drove north along the A5082 from the East Lancs and noticed what looked like slag heaps with loads of dirt tracks.
I've looked on google earth at the area and attached some pics.
It is located between Atherton, Tyldesley, Over Hulton and Little Hulton.
The A6 runs to the north, a rail line runs to the south and the A5082 is to the east.
Anyone know it?
