Hello,
A few months back I promised Apache that I'd arrange a rematch so his son could have a blast along the Strata Florida.
So we are doing it on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th August.
Here's the plan.
1. Meet in Neath about 10am (04/08) and do most of Sarn Helen, south to north. Nice route with some serious play areas along it.
2. Set up camp at Erwlon in Llandovery. Really clean site with A1 facilities.
3. Rematch through the Lost Forest Saturday afternoon. Apache has GPS and Memorymap so we're OK this time. Astra anyone?
Pub meal in the evening at the Bluebell - very nice indeed. And a couple of sherbets.
4. Strata Florida on the Sunday (05/08) both directions. Should be quite a laugh with all this water. Recently voted one of the top 50 off road routes in the world.
5. Break camp in the afternoon and probably do Sarn Helen north to south.
So there it is. Sorry but it clashes with Tony and Lindas BBQ (although me and Apache have discussed other dates these are it I'm afraid )
