SUN MAY 27 SNOWDONIA RUN. START BALA 10.00, FINISH DOLGELLAU 17.45. A STUNNING SCENIC 80 miles run taking in tracks in the Snowdonia National Park. Includes long Roman road tracks and drovers roads and includes the long Happy Valley track (which is OK for standard vehicles to drive if driven carefully.) Also includes a vist to an WW2 aircraft crash site where a Flying Fortress aircraft hit the mountain in 1945! Absolutely stunning views of Snowdonia's mountains on this run as we drive through and over them!

So, can I infer from that that some of it is a bit more challenging than a standard vehicle can manage, or do they mean some of it is OK for road cars?
Some of the lads would like a bit of a challenge. I'll email them for a bit of detail I think.
Getting to Barmouth at 17:45 might make it a bit of a charge to get to Porthmadog in time for a Barbie, but what about doing the run on Saturday, driving leisurely to Porthmadog in the evening, setting up camp and having a few beers. If there's time, have a barbie, if not have a barbie lunch on the Sunday and then potter off home on Sunday eve?
