UDTREV i need a decision on this for IOTW
this Person is asking for a surftrain to pick up bullbars when we only on island for the day and had not yet secured an address to pick them up on that day
another bump
And on a note of grovelling too, would it be possible to arrange a surf train while you're there? I've just bought some bull bars off e-blag and the seller lives in Totland Bay. Unfortunately I can't join your trip out as I'm away at Niki's this weekend. It would be most helpful if the bars could be brought back to the mainland and I'll pick them up on route home. Many thanks

NOW i wonder who Bally taught him to Hate 4x4's
What can I say chaps, fantastic day out and what a pleasure it was to meet with you all. I avoided major nagging and chastising from the woman thx largely to trev, who got hippo uber muddy in comparison to mine, as I showed her the attached pics of how bad it could have been.
It was also a great way to give our surf a good shakedown as she is fairly new to us, trial by tennyson, and aside from a marginally slipping power steering belt the old girl performed outstandingly (on a side note, some of that squealing sound wasn't the belt - it was my rear end thinking how expensive going round "THE TREE" could have been)...... Bring on the plains of salisbury.
So, in summation, a Big BIG thankyou to all for making me feel welcome, leading me round the byways of corkhead land, for the use of walkie talkies - something I'd never have thought of bringing and which added so much to the day, and of course SPECIAL THANKS to Dunno for his sterling gate operation throughout the day.
Right, now I'm off under orders to clean the surf, hope to meet up with you all again soon for more muddy fun,
Doug.

There's a kind of irony here, getting thanked for saving someone from marital strife, when that someone lives by, and knows, my ex

You are more than welcome Doug. We all enjoyed your company and you gave us a good laugh.
And whilst we are thanking everyone I would like to thank Martin for letting William and my self "Hitch A Ride" and Terrie for .... well being Terrie ! (Thanks Darling )
Ohh and especially to you Trev for giving me the 5 Mile hike between Gates!!
Paul
P.S. What Trev seems to have failed to mention is that it appears the council have done a little bit of work around "THE TREE" and made it so as you dont have to go up the bank so far now, to get round it!! Therefore should this be allowed to count....I fell a poll in the air!!
