Wigan / Leigh - Lancashire Area

Here are a few pics and youtube links to an area near me in Leigh, Lancs.
If you want to look it up on google maps ( satellite view) look at the land alongside the Plank Lane / Crankwood Road area of Leigh. I've used this area loads of times in other 4x4's , but took my recently aquired Surf on it's maiden voyage up there today, I was alone so i couldn't take too many risks in case I got stuck , so it's a bit tame,and it's filmed with a nokia phone so the quality isn't great, but it gives an idea what it's like. If anyone nearby fancies a blast round it over the christmas break , get in touch

If its on the old A580 SLAG HEAPS ive been looking for this place for ages.

dont think it's to do with the 580 , the land is the former Bickershaw colliery site
