  • off roads spots croydon surrey area???

    hello all am new to this live in norbury near croydon surrey can anyone advise me as to the nearest place to me for a bit of off road practice before i try one of the organised meets (dont want to make a total plonker of myself) ive got an auto box and running on road tyres at the moment so nothing too heavy cheers

    always some of the gang there to help and give advise.
    and pull you out if get stuck.
    as for the plonker bit
    WHO CARES come along and meet the gang.

        To be honest you may struggle at DevilsPit on road tyres if 8th Feb is as muddy as last weekend was... but it's worth coming along to meet us all and grab a few rides round to see how its done... Don't worry that you haven't done it before... there's lots of guys there with tons of experience all happy to help you out..

          thanks for the advice lin may give that a go 1st as you say its probably a bit nearer too better than staight in the deep end at the pit then wimpin out lol

            try AWDC they have some events around surrey / hampshire

              You wont need to wimp out mate, theres something for everybody at the pit, hell some people slip and slide around the car park. I run on road tyres and granted I get stuck occasionally but its all part of the fun. You see all the other 4x4's queing to pull you out.

                probably best to go out with a group too... don't wanna get stuck and stranded for weeks in the hills!
