Is anybody keen on having a nosy up at the quarry (Referred to as Haslingden, where we were kicked off by the police last time) this Bank Holiday Monday??
After all the hoohaa about using the quarry, I would`nt mind checking if anything has CHANGED. (Mr. Police Orifice, I`m here to collect fly-tipping rubbish on behalf of the owners).
If nobody`s keen on this Monday there is a Brierfield Quarry(Nelson) meet next week at £30.00 per vehicle.
    cheers,
    chris

I'd love to go back to the Quarry, I was thinking about it only the other day.
      So count me in.
I'll have to try and remember how I got there though?

The quarry you refer to is not Haslingdon but on rooley moor between waterfoot and rochdale. You only need your reg plate taken once and then 2nd time they can converscate your vehical.
Haslingdon was at a farm on haslingdon moors, Kev (Fish) is negotiating to go back there soon.

DIRECTIONS:-M6 north and merge on to M65. M65 junction 12 off slip road trur right across 1st small r/about past B&Q Superstore. Right at next roundabout towards Brierfield. First traffic lights turn LEFT signposted HAGGATE. Travel up the hill past Nelson Golf Club. RIGHT at the "T" junction. Then straight across the cross roads. FOLLOW 4x4 FUNDAY signs from the M65 junction 12 motorway junction and you wont go far wrong.

Any 1 doing the 4th June meet

I guess Rooley Moor is out then - I would rather pay me £30.00 cover-charge and be totally legal! It would be cool if we have a few of us going. I guess we should let the organisers know by email how many vehicles. Can we meet up somewhere outside Burnley? Force in numbers for mud-shy surfers!
                  cheers,

Id prob be up for the 11th July if on one wants to do the 4th June. We may get a discout if there are enough numbers.
There are plenty of places to meet up alone the way depending on where every1 is coming from.

Its easy coming from Skipton, A59 then turn off to colne, follow signs to burnley. pick up M65 at nelson and its 1 or 2 junctions down. Junction 12 i think.
