You must have heard about those fooks that travel around the world in a car ...., here in alice springs we see some cars every now anbd than with euro numberplates, and i suspect they MUST come from there?
so i had a bit of a search on the web to see if i could see a website made by people who have done such an expedition but could find anny,does anny one here have an idea or seen such a web ??

its nice for 8 months a year i guess you know when not to visit, it gets unco,fortably warm!!

There are always some good overland trip books featured in Total Off Road. This months is about a couple of guys who were based in Malaya in 1958 and decided to spend their leave by driving to the UK in an ex army Willis Jeep. It's called Four Wheels and Frontiers by Roy Follows, published by Ulric.

Try http://www.africa-overland.net Don't be fooled by the name they Australian and World trip blogs too. Unfortunately, most of current African trips are in Landrovers!
