not being funny but if there is only 10 as confirmed you had better make sure everybody has cb's as it is a big place and easy to lose each other
and yes the farm is much better than the quarry was at the quarry with the
ne4x4.org.uk a couple of weeks ago thats my local site
and the ne4x4 is my local crowd and the are a great bunch just got x passes
sorted for langdale £100 and regularly go on greenlane trips usualy night runs
might be worth a look if you are intrested as have members all over uk and abroad

camp site

how many people are going to be camping, there is a site at the off road centre but i don't think there are any showers there. i have scaned a camp site book and found one at witton castle bishop auckland which is not to far away from weardale the web address is www.wittoncastle.com .it has pitches for a total of 280,it has showers,bar, and dogs are allowed. telephone 01388488230. i think this is about the nearist but if anyone knows better please tell us

there is loads of campsites all around that area there is a small one two miles from the farm?
there is also lots off places to explore with lots of river crossings
I will be there again on the 7 of may with the ne4x4 will have a mooch about
and see what I can find out

I'll be bringing the caravan Colin. Is there electric hook-up at the Weardale site ( I like my shower in the mornings). I guess as long as I can fill the water carrier I could fire up the gas (not tried the heater on gas before). I'm rambling. One more rum for medicinal purposes and it will be bed time.

Here is link to a camp site that looks pretty good I have talked to the owner and they say we can all book in and they r happy that there is about 15 of us see what everyone thinks about it and let me know I will be booking in on monday for the 23, 24, 25, its around 15 miles from weardale. prices r £4 per night for a one man tent and 2 man tents r £8 and 4 + tent £12. caravans r about £35 + per night.

Hi Gaz will stay aleast 3nights l will have to see how wayne is after his op, he is not to bad at the moment considering what he has gone through but l will certainly be going if where in a static caravan.

no problem the more the better,i think the wife's work mate and friends are coming with land rovers so the 90 will not feel left out.
