Walna scar is a good road want to do it again this year I live not far away from the Lakes.

OK, after some initial problems (thanks for prompting me to chase it up Lee), I've had the confirmation of the permit today.

So, it's me, Leejs_uk and Assassin-uk (do you still have your Surf???)

It's still possible to add another car to the permit, max is 4. Anyone else interested, let me know.

OK, not too late to put your name down for this. Should be a good day out in the Lakes. Gatescarth Pass looks excellent, and I'm also thinking about having a look up Walnar Scar if there is time.

Still have space to get one (maybe two as Mark is selling his Surf and may not be going) more car on the permit. Days Surfing in the Lakes. No cost involved

Pictures

Great time out. The route is very good, lots of rocks to clamber over. Made difficult by the rain, got stuck a few times. Had to be winched over one step by a Disco

However, well worth it. Definately do that route again.

Yep good time had by all, kids and big kids ! lol
Rain, rocks and rubber tyres dont mix ! Slugsie towed me round most of it ! lol Thank god for tow straps ! lol
