Did Heddington steps last year in a Landie. Great fun, especially if the weather is wet, the water runs off the hills and as the steps are quite a narrow track it`s like a river. Have only been down the steps, coming up looks to be nigh on impossible and you`d be right in the poo if you met someone coming the other way. Good luck for your trip - i`d love to come but finances don`t run to MT`s yet.

Its looking like we won't be doing the steps Ken. Will still be over the plains though mate. You won't need AT's for that. I'm running road tyres at the moment and theres very little I can't do up there. Come down and join the party!

We'll have two trucks on the road by tomorrow!!! Runner now has a gearbox again, and the bullet is halfway to having new front calipers!!

We wont make this plains trip though as we're in Ireland the following weekend and cant take two weeks off from the "project"

Bugger, I've got to be in Cornwall that weekend, got a whiskey hillbilly music weekend! Was way out there in Def***er today and there is plenty of sticky stuff. Army V busy at weekends on the plain at the moment, so watch out for flags being up.

Danno - is there any more information on where we need to meet etc? My dad is interested in coming along if I can give him a bit more detailed information and if that is OK with you? He has a RR but he uses it for his business so doesn't want to risk any damage to it. Is this likely?

Trev has offered to go in convoy so I'll get my butt in gear and ring to organise but would be good to have the info anyway!

the Plains are good then - depends what Danno has organised but on the Plains he will be fine, the more tricky stuff is there if he wants it... all depends if Danno is doing any lanes as well or not.
