Trudge along the Tennyson Trail 29/01/05

OK Gang this is how it appears that who will be trudging along the trail on Saturday.

Udtrev ------- Trevor ----------Wightlink Portsmouth -- Fishbourne

Pop's --------- Martin & Terrie --Wightlink Lymington -- Yarmouth
Lame Rover---Peter ----------Wightlink Portsmouth -- Fishbourne
Danno ---------Dan ------------Redfunnel Southampton -- East Cowes

If I have missed any one, I appologise!, Please let us know. It also might be nice to know ferry times.

So If we all meet at Carisbrooke Castle at about 10.30.

I'll let trev post co-ordinates for GPS's, but those of you that use the good old fashioned maps, head for Newport and the castle is signposted.......Its a big old building on top of a hill!!

I will just be heading for Newport then Carisbroke, find the GPS doesn't give the best route through Newport

Yeah the island must have been missed of the satelites!! hence no reading. The do say that the island is 10 years behind with the times!!!

my sat nav gets me to that ruin on the hill but may not have too on sat/day will advise later
