I know this is early but it gives us something to look forward to.
Still in the planning stage, I,d like to invite fellow surfers to a weekend surf-fest.
The dates Friday 29th April - Monday 2nd May. This is a FRI - MON as Monday is a Bank Holiday weekend .Ideal if you want to travel from outside the area & make a long weekend of it.

I estimate a huge response to this event so i thought id post early so we can get numbers. Last Year was on the Easter Weekend, Easter falls very early this year brrrrrrrrrrrrr, So MAY is the planned time of year this time.
The choices of accomodation vary from Camping, Caravaning, B&B & so on.
You are open to stay where you like. The day will be Sunday 1st MAY

I'll have to do a projection of my shift pattern to suss if I am likely to be off. !!!!!! boss will only publish it three months in advance. Idle git. If I am off or can book leave it'll be yes! and I'll bring the caravan.

Me and the kids should be ok for this..........we stayed at that site last year very nice... but book up early via telephone (don't bother using the web site)

PS. Whats the course you all take at langdale????? do you block book the camping site so all can be next to one another or what?? How much do you all normally take [cash that is]

GAZ last year i was on my own as there were no SURF owners near me but low & behold theres loads of us up here now. The Southern crew stayed in Scarboro. I will be talking to Langdale for a discount as we had one last year £25 for a full day. The Pickering site i stay at is great for Caravans & tents lots of Wildlife to look at, Also lots of road kill. Grouse & Pheasant all over the place so bring on the BBQ.
