If you decide to go PM me and we'll sort something out.

Ok ok. Another day out in the offing then.

I have emailed John at Slindon, to ask him about numbers, dates and possible discount for a group outing.

            I'll post when I get a reply

Just got a reply from John at Slindon

He's agreed to a small discount of £2 per vehicle if we turn up with 8 or more.

Apparently they have catering and toilets, but no washing facilities. And "we won't be dissapointed". So the dates are as follows, lets try and get a good number of nutters for this one.

Let me know can/cants against these dates:

                    19th Sept
                    17th Oct
                    21st November

The next one is 15th August, but I'm afraid a few of us are going to be in Salisbury.

Slindons not far from me, so count me in. Can't make 19th Sep, but other dates should be ok
I'd rather be scared to death than bored to death

                              Grand Canyon

                              hi all

I went to the GRAND CANYON 4x4 course (old Shoreham cement works quarry)on the 1 st August.

It was very dry no mud but plenty off ROCKS over a (50 acres sit) my little Suzuki had no trouble claming the steep banks it just dug in to the gravel.
not shore that I would like to try this place in the wet as it is an old Cement works? wet, Cement dust??????? that would take some cleaning A
