avalanche weekend 2011

It was terrible and a pain having to keep moving the truck so some could pitch their tents.
At least sleeping in the truck i never had to worry about packing up after.

It was a bit of a free for all last year when pitching, i think because we had to wait for the numpty's driving blind fold in the landrovers & loads turning up at the same time it went a bit mad.

Im camping this year as its a bit far for me to tow the snail just for a couple of nights.

I had to sit in the caravan with the TV on & a cold beer in hand & watch you all struggle.

Yes it was terrible mate, i could'nt stand watching it.

The weather last year when setting up was terrible but we all mucked in and had a good laugh.As said it's what you make of the weekend that makes it a good weekend.
The RTTS's that i have organised in the past we have had some terrible weather but everyone enjoyed the weekend all the same

ill fetch my truck and a spare lexus V8 im sure between us all we can fit it in, in a morning

Why don't you buy all the bit & bobs your going to put on the truck & bring them to avalanche & we can all do an F1 style pit stop on it, only take us about 15 minutes.

Hi ya Si,

I've been around mate, checking out the posts etc. Not been far away.

Truck is definitely getting there. Unfortunately today I found out that I don't have the wheel brace or the turning handle for the winch rod to let down the spare wheel. I managed to improvise with a spanner. Thankfully the jack was there!

Great Monday morning! Looking forward to getting more bits done & sorted on her too.

Looking forward to actually getting her offroad this time too....
