avalanche weekend 2011

well some of us women folk get our arses behind the wheel and do a bit of mud surfing! And if we're not driving, we're riding shotgun!

But funny you should mention hair, nails etc... it was a bit of a joke between Mrs. Jotto, Koi's wife Julie (a hairdresser), Madmanc's Mary and myself that we would do a bit of beauty school at Avalanche this year. And I LOVE Zumba!

To be honest, if we're not out with the trucks, we're keeping the teas and coffees flowing, having a good natter and holding the chairs down in the big tent. It's a very relaxing weekend. If we're lucky, we're catching some sunshine, too.

And if Jotto brings his guns, perhaps we're out shooting!

also me other half said what will there be for the women to do, i said what do you normally do, bugger, shouldent have said that, that means every one is goin to have a makeover nails, hair, loations n face masks, then to top it off we will prob have to do kin ###### zumba as me wife has just passed her exams to teach this along with yoga, pilaties, body pump, boxersise, areobics ooooo god the list goes on.

but she did ask what is there for the women to do.

Nearer the time will put a list up for who wants what grub on the Fri night and who wants to bring naan bread, french stick, cakes etc.

Generally for the Friday night I do a Curry (very mild like a Korma) Pops and Anita do a chilli.

Sat, Sun & Mon morning is normally a fry up, you bring your own food stuff and use the BBQ and gas burners to cook it on.

Sat & Sun night is BBQ, again bring what you want to eat and theres normally a couple of us manning the bbq so throw on want you want cooked and we will burn it for you.

BBQ or small gas burners always available all weekend to cook on if you want something to eat lunch times.

Will be Kettles and burco boiler for making tea, coffee again bring your own tea bags coffee etc.

Last but not least and the most important thing of all is beer bring plenty because is very thirsty work
