it was running on LPG but shouldnt make a differance! if not running on all 8 then what do you suggest? no engine light has come on for an electrical fault so not sure how over heating would make some cylinders not fire?

it didnt over heat its just blew a pipe off the coolant system and then think didnt have enough coolant in and ran it not under pressure so started to over heat but i think the thermo has a bit part to play in the sence its not opening at temp and there is pressure building up as the caps are being released at 92oc which if coolant circulating properly then it should do that?? i think from the FSM 1psi is reached at 105oc?? i know the temp gauge is right as the laser thermo read 92oc and the needle was level so OK there. going to run it with out thermo see if still continues to release on pressure cap at operating temp?

very good ear vince! did notice early on in the day the driver's bank exhaust was smoking a lot more than the other and why it sounded a bit rough! need to take it to a proper exhaust place to get the bends made proprely!
