I went this year with the j33p club and it's a monster site so much you could go 2 days without meeting the other 100 trucks!

We wnet 4 hours on our own and then got grid locked with 8 trucks!

Just enquired about places and there are a few left (probably loads). just wondering if any one would be up for it?
its £155 for 2 people and includes 3 nights camp etc and a deposit of £50

its 26-27th June?

What size is it (in acres)? £155 seems a bit expensive for 2 days playing, or is that normal for down your way?

Drumclog would be £40 for the same thing and they also supply a huge pile of wood for the Saturday night bonfire, which is good :-)

the site says 1600+ acres the site is google mapped on the web site link in abouve thread! then click on seven sisters 2010 at the side. pics look good too!

Drumclog is a bit smaller (1,500 acres), but is way cheaper. For instance, D13 this year is 3 days driving and 3 (or 4 if you want it) nights camping for £60.

Seven Sisters looks like a good day out, but an expensive one!

yeah i agree £75 each for two full days off road and camping is slighty steep but i assume your paying for the exclusivity of the site for the weekend??

Looks a cracking site with plenty of tracks and trails where you can go to practice your off road skills without wrecking your truck or filling it up with muddy water!

IMHO this is the opposite to Muddy Bottom, which is should be renamed 'Muddy Landrover' judging by the photos in the galleries! I cannot think of anything worse than taking my truck bogging it down in thick mud til it breaks or filling up the interior with water How does that improve your off road skills and HTF is it enjoyable!! Shame really cos it's about 15 minutes from where I live!

Maybe I'm just getting fussy in my old age!!

There is plenty of every thing here, you cold drive miles on "shiny" roads, roll a modded truck 100ft down a tree lined hill, slash though 50ft long 6 inch deep "lakes" and then find an 8ft deep "pond"

there is pretty much anything you could want here, just have a CB as mobiles are crap in the hills and there are enough places to have a serious incident if help wasn't forthcoming and if you did the other 4x4-ers might not even see you, I have lots of pics will try and get the facebook gallery link in the morning up on here.

As it happens it's because of this Seven Sisters event on the 26th-27th (the 4th weekend in June) that I moved the dates of Jap 'n' Jeep Jam to the 2nd weekend in June (12th-13th) so they wouldn't clash.

Smego - you say you went with the J33P Club and that's precisely why the Jeep contingent were down on numbers ... plus the reason you couldn't make it. Problem solved this year, unless of course another event pops up out of the blue. See you, AM and the smegites at JJJ?

Hopefully mate, all depends on cashflow though at the moment AM has a contract job so could finish in the summer she is hoping for a full time one to come up, might drag the caravan up if I can get my replacement passport in time as it's way up north in that other country above surrey init?
