I know of some 265/75 x 15 muds for sale near me if you are interested . They are on Shogun alloy rims but worth the money as you could sell on the rims to get some cash back .

Dont know if they will have clearence problems but the rims will need to be Jeep ones as completly different stud pattern.

Very sad news , John was a nice friendly guy . Hopefully someone may carry on running the site , but I dought it . Had some of our best off roading times there . It was the birth place of The Vagrants and The Vagrant Catering Co.

Again , very sad news for John's family .

I dont know exactly when John died,as his daughter didnt say but I suspect that the funeral has already taken place, and I dont want to bug the family in their time of grief.

Vagrant me old m8 please check out three holes,I have only been there once and that was many years ago, in fact it was the first site I went to as a forum member. I met this bloke called TonyN very nice chap (i wonder what became of him, probably married now and the wife wont let him out to play )

Diesel weasel put your mud tyres back on because the serch for another site is underway. It will never be as good as norfolk but the again nothing ever will.

                              Update for possible new venue

I have met with Richard today from Venture 4x4 in Three Holes in Norfolk , well Norfolk to me, his card says Cambridgeshire. Very nice guy and would be OK with us having the site for a full day on Sundays or maybe full weekends if we discuss further . There could be camping available if required . Ladies and Gents toilet . No problem with BBQ at lunch times . Open 10-00 till 5-00 in Summer at £20 per vehicle and 10-00 till 4-00 in Autumn / Winter times at £25 per vehicle . Off road 'toys' allowed as long as seatbelts and silencers are operational.
                              Dates available at present are 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd November .
The site is similar to John's place but a lot less 'water features' but this is mainly due to lack of rain resently , so may improve as rain is forecast here next week .
I should be able to attend this one myself on the dates listed depending on workload . So I maybe able to arrange this event if needed.
