A bad day for things going wrong today, brike the fairlead rollers of the winch with a rock, lost 4WD near the end and broke the gearing or clutch in the winch.
Then on the way home (with a clogged rad) started to get hot. thanks to chrisinflight for the help. took me a few stops to cool down but i got it home. Luck i lived fairly local, unlike paul who i hear had to get the rac out for the same thing.
Anyway thanks to every1 who came along and heres a few more pics

The final things to go wrong was spilling a full can of 7up all over my mobile and in the filling the centre consol tray up with it while my stuff was in it.
Then while an the hardsholder i thought id switch on my flashing amber beacon/revolving lamp...that worked for about a min then packed in.

Great day out, plenty of snow to keep it interesting.

Yup, I found my temp needle in the red, about a mile after seeing you stopped on the hard-shoulder (couldn't stop with you, brakes weren't working well enough to have stopped in time). I stopped on the M-way, cooled down. drove another mile to get off onto an A road, then called recovery. Recovery driver looked at my truck, 'You been off-roading?' he grinned.

So, gonna have to get the rad cleaned - probably needs to be taken off altogether to get all the crap out fully. Problem is that this stuff sets like concrete.

I'll post pics later when I've warmed up.

Yup, if the mud salamander got covered, then I would be in a whole heap of trouble.

                    Thanks!

Thanks guys, it was a great day. Must fix the heating as was hard keeping the truck de-misted with snow flying in side-ways Visibility on the site was poor to say the least. Yet again, I`ll complain about my AT tread and cant wait till I get Muds. Got very stuck in the mud several times. Thanks John for your winching & I hope it`s not a serious problem with it now. A lot of people got stuck today- but there were also some seriously modded vehicles which flew though evrything.
They need to get a jetwash sorted on site. That mud is like cement- no other way to describe it. People leave the site at all different times so I think it would work well. Truck going for MoT this week so good wash and mooch about tomorrow.
Cheers and thanks for the super-day!
