Avon Dassett 28th March

Anyone up for this? Its another TV 4x4 event!!

Costs £20 per car (£15 for TV 4x4 members), Can arrive Sat and camp overnight.

Avon Dassett is a good off road site with plenty to suit all abilities. The club trailer provides a loo, but not sure if there will be any catering so bring a BBQ or sarnies!!!

Directions
Turn off the M40 at Junction 12.Turn towards Gaydon on the B4451, after 1/2 mile you join the B4100.
Turn left Towards Banbury. Follow road for approx. 2 miles go over long railway bridge until you come to an M.O.D. Base (Kineton) on the right hand side.
At the base take small turning to the left. Follow road straight up hill, over cattle grid, carry on up and around the hill, not turning off and over second cattle grid. Follow road for over a mile until you reach a staggered junction. Turn right then immediately left signposted to Farnborough. The site is approx. 3/4 mile on the right hand side.

AAARRHH just remembered other commitments this weekend cant make it after all.
gutted.
funny how the bug really gets ya innit !!!
had this week off work with the 'flu' hahhahahaha
spent 4 days so far replacing the alternater,stripping out and jet washing the carpet and plastics and clogged up rad.

just gotta get a s*** load of clay off the drive now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to remind everyone that there are going to be tv cameras down there at Avon Dassett, apparently there will be 5 cameramen this time! There is also supposed to be a "Men and Motors" model down there as well doing a tastefully shot thing climbing into an off roader, pulling a harness over her chesticles and then roaring off into the sunset. Cant wait to watch that myself!
Its because it is a bigger site with more spectacular features than Pingewood.

p.s. Pingewood video will be on Overload channel on the satellite any day now. At the moment they are on channel 208 but are moving to 166.
