@ the rest of the folks attending Norfolk this Sunday..I WILL be there to keep an eye on your behaviour but as the doctor says I cant go round and as I am off to hospital thursday 18th I am liable to be a bit grumpy.Your day will be made much easier if I am plyed with lots of coffee, cake and kind words. If you cant picture a grumpy sumo then think of it as A FAT,BALD BLOKE WITH PMTLast edited by sumo; 10 October 2007, 17:18.If the puddles to deep..LEARN TO SCUBA.

Unfortunately, going to have to drop out. And I was really looking forward to this.
But Nikki still not feeling too fit after her trip to hospital, so I must stay behind to do my nursing bit and maybe take her out for lunch as she has been stuck in for weeks now.
Don't think shaking her up in a truck and a bbq is what the Doc suggested.
Hoepfully get to a muddy meet real soon.

Hi gang..I'm not far from East Dereham, and would love to come along for a look..Will there be room in the carpark for a casual spectator..I mean, if it looks fun, i might play next year, but i'm still kinda at the stage where going off kerbs is a little freaky!

Sorry people, gonna have to back out. Am really sad as was looking forward to it. My dog Jake has a serious trauma problem, was scared by gunfire recently. We now can't get him out to walk anywhere. He's up for it and jumps into the car, but any more than 25m from the car and he freezes or bolts back to the car. Last ditch attempt is to take him to the coast and tomorrow is the only day Liz and I can do together. Have fun and see you next time!
Cheers

Hi Sumo..I did have my camera, but being my first off-road experience, i couldn't take my eyes off the action..I mean, i couldn't believe what they were putting those motors through!..I followed Rodger up the track to the little pull off area and thought i'd done a "section"..He then lent out of the window and pointed at a puddle in a "there you go" manner, at which point my mum got all emotional, the wife actually stopped talking for more than twenty seconds while it dawned on them i was contemplating the challenge..Then i spotted the marker tape and decided it was maybe a bit serious, so bottled it..
The only pics i got were of Roger's truck (blue surf with 3" lift?) and "bunny"..I did look for a way of uploading the images, but all i can see is a link to a URL..erm..I'll try and mail them to ya!
Thanks for letting me come along for a peek..good to see what you all get up to and put some names to faces..I'll never wash my surf again, they just look soo much better encrusted in good ole Norfolk mire..In fact, i'll not be so "precious" over it full stop! Watching the guys driving a tonka toy the way god intended was an education..I just need to name mine now, rip off the running boards, 2 inch sus lift, 1 inch body lift, snorkle, spacers, mud n stickers and i'll be with you for the next one!
