Off-Roading in the midlands

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a centre within the east midlands that will teach me how to use the truck properly.

Both myself and the girlfriend have done a bit of a search on the T'Interweb, but it seems to be mostly 'taster' type sessions aimed at Stag Parties etc. I'm really after learning something that's going to be useful in the future, not just having a bit of a laugh.

Anyone got any recommendations? I'd be after using one of their vehicles on a first time out (I'm still feeling a bit precious about the 4-Runner so don't want to risk breaking it until I've got some idea what I'm doing).

Best bet would be to come along to one of the up-coming offroad meets and drive round with another Surfer for a bit for to show you the ropes (possibly litteraly) for free. I don't know any East Mids sites but I a regular here:
